Deloitte is one of the Big Four accounting organisations, hiring over 3,000 students and graduates per year in Australia alone. With such high recruitment volumes, creating engaging and authentic content is crucial yet challenging.

I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Poncho Rivera-Pavon, a Senior Consultant in Deloitte Australia's employee branding team on the VMJPod, about their groundbreaking new recruitment marketing strategy using VideoMyJob.

 

The Status Quo: Time-Consuming and Decentralized

Previously, Deloitte Australia produced all video content in-house across teams. While they had the resources, it was still a slow process depending on team bandwidth. As the sole branding team member in Melbourne, Poncho had to coordinate content creation across states and rely on other offices to help. This decentralised and ad hoc approach made maintaining branding consistency difficult.

VideoMyJob Implementation: Rapid and Turnkey

Deloitte Australia decided to pilot VideoMyJob after given a strong recommendation. The graduate video creation process with VideoMyJob was extremely streamlined - 102 videos within just 4 days!

By leveraging VideoMyJob's automated scripts and AI editing, graduates could easily film professional videos answering key questions from anywhere in the country. The platform removed all heavy lifting for Poncho, reducing a normally month-long process to just video review.

Looking Ahead: Boosting Engagement and Interaction

With authentic graduate videos going live across major university job boards, Deloitte expects metrics like time-on-site and engagement to increase significantly. By showing real employees and projecting genuineness, the brand aims to resonate better with graduate candidates.
