Video Marketing for Talent Teams

My intense week started with a LinkedIn sponsored pre-conference check-in at The Bungalow, with the beautiful backdrop of Venice Beach (stunning). I finally met the wonderful Stacey Broadwell (TechRecruit Founder) in person! It was also my first time out of LAX Airport, it certainly won't be my last! So here's the wrap (have no fear, no actual rapping occurs).

We love to immerse ourselves in the work of thought leaders, vendors and fellow practitioners who inspire, educate and motivate us to do better. Spoiler alert! A video job ad script is not a ‘copy and paste’ of the written job description, aka JD. Why? For starters, the way you express yourself when writing, can sound very different to the way you talk.

In May 2019 VideoMyJob’s 150 customers created 2064 videos. That’s an average of nearly 14 videos per team, per month! This video production total is growing every month as our customers adopt employee-generated video as a ‘business as usual’ practice that is an indispensable part of their communication strategy.

We did manage to squeeze in a few advanced features for our super-users; caption snapping and further improvements to trimming. There’s a host of teeny-tiny editing enhancements which will make the entire editing process smoother, more intuitive and quicker for everyone.

I’m not sure I need to convince you that people love watching videos. But just in case, did you know that YouTube users consume more than 1 billion hours of video every day?
